Returns Policy: Currently we honor no returns of items unless there is an error on our part or a damaged shipment. We suggest you measure an area that is 6 inches in diameter, and then take a yard stick and see where 24" comes up to. It's sad, but we have had folks order a time capsule, use it in their ceremony or event, and then send it back...often damaged and not in any condition to sell. If you cannot use it, feel free to donate it to a local school or church. Thank you for the question.

Yes, of course. But take care that the vault does not leak. For instance, years ago Tulsa OK placed a Plymouth Belvedere (and a time capsule) inside of a vault and unearthed it 50 years later just to discover that the cover leaked and the car was sitting in water most of that time. Add the sealant to our product. Good luck!
