Q: 2019 DAR requirements for applications and documentation proofs are now on TEXTURED finish on print side, acid free, watermarked, 25% rag content. Is this paper textured or smooth?

Q: Would your "Paper Fine Heavy 28 Ivory Legal 8.5 x 14" be appropriate for a family tree which will be hand-written with a Staedtler Pigment Liner 0.1 pen? Is that ink compatible with the paper?

A: 10 sheets to the package for this paper. We pack in a re-usable clear heavy PP sleeve for your use. We combine up to 30 in one re-usable sleeve. The paper is heavy and we need to pack it well so that you get it intact.

I hope we emailed you after you asked the question - I am just posting it now. YES, of course it is acid free! Plus it has 25% cotton content, is watermarked, and is the correct color and weight. If you use a liquid ink for signatures (like a fountain pen) be sure to allow plenty of time for it to dry. This is a permanent paper.

Hello Cathie!
This paper is SMOOTH, acid free, lignin free, watermarked, 25% cotton rag content, and measures 8.5"x14". The reason that the club went to 'Textured' is because of possible smudging when the papers are signed and folks use liquid ink to sign their names to the applications. We have another paper that is Textured that you should consider, specifically to meet that requirement - https://www.futurepkg.com/Paper-Ivory-Legal-25-Cotton-Textured. This fine paper is beautiful but be advised that the surface is smooth. If you use it, please allow plenty of time for your ink to dry. Some customers have had issues with the ink smearing because they did not wait for it to dry. Thank you for the question.
