Bolted Time Capsules 14" x 14" x 30" Queen of England Model
Designed to be easy and safe for you to use to store documents, photos, and artifacts for the long term, our Bolted Time Capsule is easy to seal yet protective over many years. You can safely place this time capsule in almost any environment, and you can bury it without any special vault. It's rated for 100 years or more for protection of the items inside.

These 14x14 bolted time capsules feature an opening of 11.25" diameter - but once inside, you get a full 14x14x30".
The outer dimensions of this time capsule are 14.25"x 14.25"x 31".
Calculated oxygen absorber amounts included: use all absorbers included: you get at least 5000 cc
Estimated desiccant amounts included: use all conditioners included. You get at least 13 units!

How does the top open? Does it come off completely?

A:
It is a simple closing procedure for the customer. What you see in the picture is the flange of the container - not the lid. The flange of the time capsule is what does all the work. It's circular in the opening (diameter for the 14x14 capsule here measures 11.25"). It's made of 1/2 inch stainless steel that has been machined so that it has an O ring groove (we include a formed silicone o ring) and features 12 bolt holes that have been closed off inside via welding, so that once the (simple) 1/4" flat stainless steel lid is positioned over it, and the closure is made over those holes, no water can get inside.
