Paper Insert Backing zaps acids, keeps acidic papers nice over time - works like Magic

Insert Sizes, Exact Measurement of the Paper, Common Use, Idea for Bag or Sleeve Size:

8x11: 8-1/2" x 11" - for Magazine - use inside of any 9" x 12" or larger Bag or Sleeve
8x13: 8-1/4" x 13-1/3" - Legal Papers for 8-1/2" x 14" items - use any 9" x 15" or larger Bag
9x11: 8-1/2" x 11-1/2" - Magazine or Document - use any 10" x 12" or larger Bag or Sleeve

These easy to use inserts or backings are designed to fit various plastic pouches and are provided for your use with your own pouch.

You get ONE (1) heavy sheet 1 ply of 100% cotton museum-quality AlphaRag Artcare(TM) sheet. The paper features a MicroChamber Technology that actively provides protection against acidic deterioration over time. Measurements are as close to that listed above as possible - paper is cut by hand.

This paper meets the regulations of ANSI/ NISO Z39.48-1992 (Permanence of Paper) and passes the Photographic Activity Test (P.A.T.). No optical brighteners are used in the manufacturing process. The MicroChamber products incorporated in this heavy paper effectively remove many harmful compounds such as phenols, ethanoic and methanoic acid, sulfur dioxide, ammonia, and formaldehyde, which contribute to the aging of artwork and other materials. This heavy white sheet is Buffered, Acid Free & Lignin Free.

The paper is AcidFree, LigninFree, Buffered to impart a pH protective backing (and does much more than that). Each kit includes a small 2-gram silica gel packet for added protection from moisture. We're also including free the 40313 Preserving Newspapers Booklet, one leaflet per order.

We cut the paper to size from large sheets on our large cutting machine. We try to be as accurate as possible, but we do cut each sheet by hand. This paper is far superior to other papers on the market for 'backing' or inserts.

Paper is made in the USA. Quantities are limited to stock on hand.
