The Millennium in Stainless Steel: Inside Barrington’s Time Capsule

On a crisp Sunday afternoon on October 22, 2000, the residents of
Barrington, Illinois, gathered on Hough Street to witness a historic
turning point. As the town bell rang out, the village officially
dedicated its brand-new Village Hall—built on the exact footprint of its
1898 predecessor.
This wasn’t just a
celebration of new brick and mortar; it was a physical bridge between
the town's 19th-century roots and an uncharted millennium. To capture
the spirit of a community booming past 10,000 residents, local leaders
sealed a time capsule deep into the municipal grounds.

Relief Efforts!

During the month of October, we will donate 50 per cent of our time capsule sales to Hurricane Helene Relief.
We plan to donate to Samaritan's Purse. We will update the blog in November so you can see how much we were able to donate.
Sales of all time capsules in stock will go toward supporting this effort during the month of October, and maybe beyond if we can do it. We usually pay for shipping, so this amount is deducted from the gross. See below for actual donations made by date. Buy a time capsule today!!
Our total so far is $350.00 donated to Samaritan's purse for NC Hurricane Relief. Thank you to our customers for allowing us to make the donation.
