These envelopes are an excellent acid-free and lignin-free storage device for all types of documents, pamphlets, clippings, etc. They are manufactured from sturdy Perma/Dur® stock, buffered with approximately 3% calcium carbonate. Each is constructed using a neutral pH (P.A.T. tested) adhesive and includes an un-gummed flap to help keep out dust and light without marring contents are they are inserted and extracted. We have eliminated the center seam which could mar the contents if too much pressure or weight is applied. Instead, they have two side seams that are not only safer, but provide for a more even stack or file in quantity.
