For items up to about 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" in size, these envelopes measure 6" x 9" and each opens on one short end. Flapped. Envelopes are an excellent acid-free and lignin-free storage device for all types of documents, pamphlets, clippings, etc. Manufactured from sturdy Perma/Dur® stock, buffered with approximately 3% calcium carbonate. Each is constructed using a neutral pH (P.A.T. tested) adhesive and includes an ungummed flap to help keep out dust and light. We have eliminated the center seam which could mar the contents if too much pressure or weight is applied. Instead, we have incorporated two side seams that are not only safer, but provide more for even stacking and filing in large groups. No adhesive on flap.
