Our special permanent papers are all natural white, Acid-Free, Lignin-Free, & Buffered and rated to last 300 years when stored properly. These papers have been tested using accelerated aging tests and have passed the new standard for permanence. They are suitable for drawing and are also used for photocopying acidic papers (such as news clippings) that are placed into storage.
MicroChamber and ArtCare® Premium papers have specialized activated carbons and specially formulated SPZ zeolite with alkaline buffers. The Microchamber do not react with the molecules they eliminate, but rather remove and neutralize them. Molecules removed by MicroChamber® papers include acids such as ethanoic (acetic) and methanoic (formic) acid, phenols, aldehydes, hydrogen peroxide, ozone, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulfide, oxides of nitrogen, ammonia and formaldehyde. The following bond papers are for use in printers and copy machines as well as for writing by hand.
