Polishing Finishes for your Time Capsule
Why have your capsule polished?
If purchased alone, our box-shaped capsules come with a natural 2B finish. This is an industrial finish (i.e. welds are visible) but some customers may prefer a different look. For these customers, we offer polishing.

A polished capsule has a nice, clean finish. It makes the capsule look like an art piece and is mirror-like but iIt does nothing to help protect against corrosion and is difficult to photograph well.
