Tips & How to's

A Time Capsule is a container that holds records, such as documents, photos and memorabilia, to be opened at some predetermined opening date in the future. It is a snapshot of today, and it can be a way to go 'back to the future.' On one hand, future folks will experience a bit of what life might have been like now; and on the other hand, we can have some fun trying to predict what life will be like in the future. You'll want to make your contents interesting enough so that future folks will look forward to opening it. You do need to be aware of how to prepare items properly so that they will last. But consider first the time capsule container and how it seals-it's by far the most important step in a successful time capsule project.

Our time capsules are popular for the individual or couple, for a baby's first birthday, a high school or college graduation ceremony, or an engagement or wedding ceremony. They make unique ways to celebrate a family reunion or New Years Eve. Because they make unique engraved gifts, these time capsules go beyond the 'message in a bottle.' During our 20 years in business, many organizations and groups have used our time capsules to help mark time. It may be for an inauguration, a special anniversary (25th, 50th, 75th "Jubilee," 100th "Centennial," 150th "Sesquicentennial," 200th "Bicentennial" anniversaries). It may be as a replacement time capsule for a cornerstone deposit that's been opened. We offer both stock and custom time capsules.
